<description>Peter Got Trapped in the Museum! | A Family Mystery Story in Slow English Practice English with this slow, emotional, and easy-to-follow English Listening Story. This lesson is perfect for beginner and lower-intermediate learners (A2 level) who want to improve listening, shadowing, and speaking English through a simple family mystery story. In today’s episode, Emma’s family visits a museum just before closing time. They stop to look at the Pharaoh’s Golden Scepter, the most important treasure in the exhibition. Guard Lewis tells Anna and Peter to look carefully at the top of the scepter. Then Anna and Peter go to the restroom for a moment. But suddenly, a loud alarm rings. Red lights flash. A safety door closes. And Anna and Peter are trapped inside the museum. As they try to find another way back, they hear something shocking. Director Cole and another guard are stealing the golden scepter. Worse, they plan to blame Guard Lewis for the crime. Anna and Peter run through a dark corridor and hide inside the 3D Ancient Life Hall. There, they find Guard Lewis and tell him everything. Together, they make a clever plan. While Emma and David call the police outside, Anna, Peter, and Guard Lewis use the museum’s lights, sounds, and giant animal projections to slow the thieves down. Mammoths, saber-tooth cats, and dinosaur shadows fill the dark hall. The thieves begin to panic. But will the police arrive in time?
